About Trenda
Trenda is a dedicated Provisional Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC) at Bonsai Health with over five years of experience working in the addiction field. She is passionate about helping individuals on their journey toward recovery through compassion, understanding, and personalized care.

Trenda began her education at Metropolitan Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in Behavioral Science at Bellevue University. Her educational and professional experiences have strengthened her belief that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process. She strives to meet each client where they are, helping them identify their strengths and supports while creating a safe and non-judgmental space for healing and growth.

Her treatment philosophy centers on tailoring care to meet each person’s unique needs, pace, and goals. Trenda’s ability to connect with others on a deeply personal level sets her apart—she makes every individual feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that everyone has the capacity to reach their full potential, and she is committed to empowering clients to navigate challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Trenda’s long-term goal is to open her own counseling practice, focusing on at-risk youth. She hopes to provide them with a safe, supportive space to be open and honest, and to equip them with the tools and resources needed to overcome life’s challenges such as trauma, addiction, and emotional instability.

Trenda was honored to be inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) National Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence and dedication to her field.

Outside of work, Trenda enjoys spending quality time with her family—especially skating and playing board games with her kids. She also finds balance and peace through hiking, yoga, reading, and journaling.
