Karah Olson

Counselor

About Karah

Karah is a passionate and purpose-driven counselor at Bonsai Health, holding a Provisional Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC) license and currently working toward full LADC licensure. She brings nearly two years of dedicated experience in the addiction field and a deep commitment to walking alongside individuals on their path to recovery.

Karah completed her education at Metropolitan Community College and pursued additional studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her approach to addiction treatment is grounded in humanity and humility—she believes healing begins when we treat each other as equals. Karah supports each person in discovering their own strengths, goals, and self-worth, helping them build confidence and create new paths forward—even when none seem to exist.

What sets Karah apart is her open-minded and deeply empathetic nature. She connects with individuals from all walks of life and brings resilience, loyalty, and compassion into every session. Whether through creative problem-solving or unwavering support, Karah is committed to being a steady presence as clients rediscover their power and potential.

Karah was honored with a Commander’s Coin of Excellence at Offutt Air Force Base in 2016, graduated with honors, and is a lifelong member of the National Honor Society. But for her, success is not measured by accolades—it’s defined by helping others feel valued, empowered, and ready to embrace change.

Outside the clinic, Karah is a devoted wife and mom, a lifelong music lover and pianist, and an adventurer at heart—whether skydiving, creating cartoon art, or dancing in her kitchen. Raised in Nebraska with Philly roots, she's also a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan. Go Birds!
